Cameo 4 compatible Universal Pen Holder

The 3D FunPrintz Universal Pen Holder is now available for the Cameo 4 and Portrait 3 machine.

The holder takes most pens that are 12.4mm diameter and smaller. Many, many types of pen work brilliantly and easily (over a hundred), including Fine (Standard) and Extra Fine Sharpies. It also holds pens with non cylindrical barrels, such as hexagonal and triangular opening up drawing options even further.

A clip on, hands free tool allows easy setting of the pen nib to the correct depth. Just clip it on, push the pen into the small recess on the tool and tighten the cap.

The holder does not have the metal plate that the Cameo 4 uses to detect the fitted tool but it currently works just fine without it. In the event that the plate becomes required by a later firmware update the holder has a ready made recess to allow you to fit the plate from the blue adapter that comes with your Cameo 4. Just slide it out of the blue adapter and fit it to the universal pen holder with double sided craft tape for a removable fit or a drop of superglue for a permanent fit. The recess is sized to fit the plate perfectly.

The holder comes with 2 calibration clip tools as standard.

The holder will be supplied in various colours depending on stock at the time of order.
