To use
All you need to do is insert the sharpie into the holder and screw the lid on.
The lid doesn’t need to be tight. Just screwed down loosely.
Insert it into your machine and lock the latch. Don’t force the latch. It should lock in as easily as any of your other accessories. If it requires a lot of pressure stop and realign it properly.
When you start to print the machine may tell you that it does not recognise the accessory. Just press Continue, Ok or Accept and it will start to draw.
When not in use, do not leave a Sharpie in the holder and try not to screw the lid all the way down for storage. This will help to preserve the spring mechanism.
The holder takes normal and fine sharpies but not ultra fine.
Most importantly, the Sharpie holder is made from PLA as it is a natural plastic originating from corn starch and is recyclable. For these reasons it does not like heat.
Please don’t leave it in the sun, on a hot windowsill, on or near a radiator or anywhere else with a lot of heat. Please also keep away from children. PLA can be sharp when broken.
